A great video showing Kyle Balda's method for animating a two person dialog piece in 10 minutes. Really great quick explanation of ones work method. He follows a very similar method to me.

Kyle Balda was one of my earliest animation supes at PIXAR and one of the most influential and helpful animators in my career. Take a look it's great stuff.

thanks for this one. Cool approach to 2 character interaction. It seems to put the interaction at the forefront, which probably makes it easier to focus on that instead of 'cool poses'

This is sort of off topic for this post but I would still like to put this out there. Congrats on Brutal Legend. It is amazing. The animation is some of the best I have seen thus far in a video game. It is rare to see such care and delicacy taken in character acting and facial animation on a game of such scale. Having worked on a RPG in the past I can truly appreciate the work that went into BL. It shows. Congrats again.
